Installation

Installing and configuring new computer systems can be a time of disruption and upheaval. Following the design process and once all details have been finalised, Digital Media Infrastructure will confirm an installation plan. Typically if sizable, for example a full network re-install, DMI’s preferred window would be out of hours over a weekend or evening.

Less disruptive installations will be done during office hours to suit the people or department involved.

Following large scale changes a DMI technician will be on site as you open on the first working day back to ensure all parties are happy with any changes.

Preparation

Digital Media Infrastructure believes that preparation is the key and so much of the configuration is performed off-site before implementation. We will co-ordinate behind the scenes domain changes if needed as well as help with broadband installation and other peripheral tasks that may potentially delay the overall installation.

Our service includes comprehensive documentation of your installation. This provides a single reference point containing full network diagrams, systems audit and essential disaster recovery information.
