Cardev International

Based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, Cardev has been manufacturing offline oil filtration equipment for over twenty years.
DMI was asked to provide a solution and implementation plan to replace an ageing network infrastructure. We presented two possible solutions within budget, highlighting the pros and cons of each system and our reason for recommendation.

DMI won the contract, replaced all desktop hardware, integrated the new infrastructure and migrated email and data to the new platform.

Cardev now has a reliable mail and collaboration server, secure wireless network access, mobile working and email capability with eight remote users and a branch office linked by VPN.

Clarity Arts

Based at our New York Mill factory at Summerbridge, Clarity Arts designs, manufactures and retails furniture and interiors promoting good design and high standards. Working within a factory environment some of Clarity's requirements have at times been challenging , with Managing Director Clive Wright wanting to exploit the available technology in all areas of his business. DMI's ability to react quickly and effectively has meant all his requirements have been met and he now has effective use of his systems from multiple locations in the UK.
